Couples Boudoir! The newest trend…

COUPLES BOUDOIR CALL OUT:

Couples are seeking alternatives to traditional engagement shoots and are opting for couples boudoir sessions. After seeing some examples, we are really excited about the opportunity of possibly doing a multi-page feature on this new approach in the 2011 fall/winter issue and are accepting submissions now!

Ok! This is a shout out to all my sexy couples out there!  Grace sent me this email looking for sexy couples to showcase in her world famous mag! Let me know if you are interested in a shoot that will forever immortalize the love and passion you two share for one another!

Leah expecting

Wow! Just had to post some images from Leah’s shoot! Leah is a local make-up artist, her company is “yourbeautifulface.com”. Leah is a beautiful person and being an artist herself was a real pleasure to shoot. She was so relaxed and serene even while scantily clad, this is the mark of a true artist who realizes the beauty in every moment, not only the ones that are planned and posed. Can’t wait to shoot the little guy when he is just a few weeks old!

January Bridal Show Madness!

Wow! another January show is over and it was a big, crazy one as usual!  It did seem to be equally as busy on Saturday and Sunday this year due to more people coming to see Randy Finolli from “Say Yes to the Dress” on Sunday. One thing is for sure, more brides are planning there weddings on Friday and Sunday. Friday’s were very popular along with 11/11/11 this year, and 9/10/11. Thanks to Andi, Christin, Courtney, Taryn & Andy my guest couple, and Lacey, my guest bride, for being a part of my booth and helping talk to brides, you guys really add something extra for me! Here are a few pics we did in the photobooth.

Erika & Brian’s day after shoot

The day after the wedding, Brian, Erika and Jasmine and I loaded up in the 4×4 jeep wrangler I rented and headed to the El Yunque rain-forest 20 minutes east of the resort. On the way there, we stopped off at a local bar for a Puerto Rican beer and took some pics out front and met some very nice locals who we talked to for a bit. We then headed on into the rainforest and climbed up a rocky waterfall for some dramatic images. Afterwards, we headed to a nearby local beach called Playa Luquillo to finish up with some beach shots.

Erica & Brian’s Wedding in Puerto Rico

I really enjoyed going to Puerto Rico to shoot Erika & Brian’s wedding and Day After shoot!  They stayed at the beautiful Gran Melia Resort about 30 minutes from San Juan.  I now totally understand why the Puerto Rican people love their country so much! It reminds me of Costa Rica, Miami and Havana all rolled into one! Every person we met was very nice, no matter where we were (unlike Jamaica!). On the wedding day we were planning to start pics at 3pm, but due to a very slow group of hair & make-up artists the bride wasn’t ready until 15 minutes before the ceremony! Luckily we had some light left after the ceremony!  Erika was so calm! I was more stressed out than she was!  The couple had a small group of about 45 guests, I was a little worried that that might mean not a lot of dancing, but boy was I wrong! Brian and Erika danced the night away with most of the guests joining in! Seems like all of my weddings have people that love to dance and have a great party! Maybe that’s because I love to capture so many of those images. Enjoy the photos and I highly recommend a trip to Puerto Rico! Thanks to the Gran Melia staff and the awesome wedding planner Marlyn Monet!
